第一段語法符號講解
1. Several cases have been reported…who can read and detect…and see through…
複合句，主句主謂結構. 後面是 who 引導的定語從句，該定語從句爲並列句，有兩個謂語，均爲主謂賓結構.
2. One case concerns a schoolgirl who has vision but who can perceive things…
複合句，主句主謂結構. 後面是 2 個並列的 who 引導的定語從句，均爲主謂賓結構，由 but 連接.
3. This ability was noticed…
簡單句，主謂結構.
4. she came into his office and happened to put…
並列句，前後兩句都是主謂賓結構.
5. she asked her father…and described the way…
複合句，前句爲主謂賓+賓語從句，why 引導的賓語從句爲主謂賓+賓補結構.
and 之後爲後句，省略了主語的主謂賓+定語從句結構，定語從句爲主謂結構.
第二段語法符號講解
1. talent was brought to the notice…and she was given a test…
複合句，句子結構由 and 連接兩個句子，前句爲主謂賓結構，外加一個定語從句，爲主謂結構. 後句爲主謂賓結構.
2. she was able to read a newspaper and she was able to describe the figures and colours; and (she was able) to make out the outlines and colours…
複合句，句子由第一個 and 分成兩個長句，雖然第二句裏面帶有分號，但這個分號是基於後面這句內部而言的，並非整個句子以分號分爲兩句.
2-1 句，主謂賓結構.
2-2 句是一個並列句，前句 stranger still…she was able to describe…colours，爲主謂賓結構，分號後面省略了主語和一部分謂語，補充完整爲 and, she was able to make out… 也是主謂賓結構.
3. experiments showed that…her knees and shoulders had sensitivity.
複合句，主謂+賓語從句結構，賓語從句爲主謂結構.
4. Vera was blindfold; and she lacked the ability…
並列句，前句主系表結構，後句主謂賓結構.
狀語 except when blindfold 省略了主語和系動詞，應爲 when she was blindfold.
5. It was also found that although…this ability ceased…
複合句，it was that 強調句型，it 作形式主語，that 引導的主語從句作真正的主語.
主語從句 that although…wet 中，先是 although 引導的讓步狀語從句although…fingers，該從句的主句爲主謂結構 this ability ceased，最後是省略了引導詞when 的定語從句修飾 the moment，該定語從句爲主系表結構.
爲什麼打溼了手就沒辦法識別物體呢？可能是爲了讓這個能力看起來更爲神奇，亦可能打溼了手不方便作弊，因爲類似的能力，魔術師也有過表演. 其實要真有這種能力，完全可以去買即開型彩票，或者去賭場，用來表演或者開培訓班還是屈才了.
