第一段詞彙解析

①整個狀語中有一個 which 引導的定語從句。一般說來某一成分下是不細分的，但是從句本書仍然細分。

②increasingly = more and more。

③plead ignorance = say that you don't know anything about。

④gaily embark on the task = happily start the job。

⑤installing = putting in。

⑥novices = beginners。

第二段詞彙解析

①repeatedly = often , time after time。

第三段詞彙解析

①這裏的 snap 是猛咬、啪地關上之意，在句子中所表達的意思是 link，一個小環斷了。

②該狀語中有 that 引導的賓語從句和 after 引導的狀語從句。
