特技太讚了！我喜歡電影裏的美妙背景、以及充滿外星風味的服飾，武器和生物。這句話中出現了好幾個電影方面的詞彙。特技叫做special effects。Setting有“環境”的意思，用在電影和小說裏就是“背景”。你覺得電影中的背景很贊很美妙可以說它是fantastic settings，other-worldly是超脫塵世的意思。

這句話說了好和不好的兩方面，好的方面是電影的整體情節overall plot。Plot就是“情節”的意思，overall是“全面的”，合起來overall plot就是整體情節。那不好的方面呢就是角色的發展character development。The overall plot of the movie was really very interesting. But I don't think the character development was that strong.這部影片的整體情節很有趣，但是我覺得角色的發展不是很好。

這句話評論是配音dubbing。說的中文的配音幾乎毀了那部電影，我還是更喜歡聽英文原聲，配上中文字幕就行了。你覺得有什麼因素“毀”了電影就說ruin，配音叫做dub。They ruined the movie when they dubbed it into Chinese from English.中文配音幾乎毀了那部電影。Would rather是固定短語，寧願的意思。字幕呢叫做sub-titles。Sub就是在...的下面“標題、題目”就是title。在下面的題目那就自然而然理解爲了字幕。I would rather have seen it in English with Chinese sub-titles-我寧願去看中文字幕的英文原音電影。
