繼廣州首次發現境外輸入關聯病例後，北京、上海也首次通報發現境外輸入關聯病例。境外疫情輸入風險繼續增高情況下，北京提出從3月25日零時起，所有入境人員進入北京均要做核酸檢測，並全部就地集中隔離觀察。

從週三開始，所有入境首都北京的乘客均要做核酸檢測並進行集中隔離觀察，北京市週一首次通報發現新冠病毒境外輸入關聯病例。

nucleic acid tests是核酸檢測；centralized quarantine是集中隔離。
北京市政府週二發佈通知，要求14日內從其他口岸（other ports）入境進京人員，全部集中隔離觀察（undergo quarantine and observation at designated isolation sites），全部做核酸檢測。
通知指出，隔離觀察費用自理（fees for isolation and observation should be taken on by the travelers themselves），檢測費用（the expenses for nucleic acid tests）按照是否參加基本醫療保險或購買商業保險（basic or commercial medical insurance）等有關規定執行。
據北京市衛健委通報，3月23日12時至24時，北京新增報告境外輸入新冠肺炎確診病例（new imported novel coronavirus cases）16例，截至（as of）3月23日24時，累計報告境外輸入確診病例（the total number of infections from overseas）138例，治癒出院病例9例。
新增16例境外輸入病例中，英國10例、西班牙2例、美國2例、希臘1例、墨西哥1例。昨日共新增境外輸入確診病例31例，疑似病例（suspected cases）5例。
3月23日12時至24時，海淀區新增報告1例境外輸入關聯病例（locally transmitted case connected to an imported one），屬北京首例。
截至3月23日24時，累計報告本地確診病例（domestic cases）416例，治癒出院病例392例（392 patients cured and released from hospital），治癒出院率94.2%。
