B: He's starting to get under the boss's skin. He is up to here with John.
他就要惹怒老闆了，老闆已經快受不了約翰了。
A:I hope the boss doesn’t put me on the spot about John. He’ll probably give me the third degree.
希望約翰不要拖累我。老闆或許會不斷找我問話。
B: I know you don’t have the heart to squeal on him but I think you have to come clean.
我想你不會扯他的後臺，不過還是說真話較好。
