舊金山每年有50多場電影節，而且裏面很多都是放獨立電影和小衆電影，還有諸如希臘電影節、印第安電影節這樣的特色電影節。

The locals love independent films. SF is home to more than 50 film festivals each year. Some are large international festivals. Others are smaller with a very focused film offering such as the Greek Film Festival, the Jewish Film Festival, and the American Indian Film Festival.
