國際勞動婦女節 International Women's Day
InternationalWomen's Day, originally called International Working Women's Day, is marked onMarch 8 every year, which is a holiday for women in the whole world. Different nationsor regions have different celebrations towards this holiday, but their purposeis common, namely appreciating for women's economic, political and socialachievements. China started to commemorate this day since 1922, and the firstmass commemoration activity was held in Guangzhou in 1924. In December 1949,the Central People's Government administration Council formally announced forthe Women's Day on March 8. With Opening up and progress of society, women are playingan increasingly important role in all fields. We can see their great achievementseverywhere. Therefore, this is a day to protect the rights and interests ofwomen as well as praise them outstanding contributions.
每年的3月8日定爲國際婦女節，也稱國際勞動婦女節，這是一個全世界女性的共同節日。不同的國家和地區有不同的慶祝方式，但目標都是一樣的，都是爲了嘉獎女性對經濟、政治和社會所作出的貢獻。我國於1922年開始紀念"三八"節。中國婦女第一次羣衆性的紀念"三八"節活動是1924年在廣州舉行的。1949年12月，中央人民政府政務院規定每年的3月8日爲婦女節。隨着社會的開放和進步，女性在各個領域都發揮着越來越重要的作用，我們隨處可見女性的巨大成就。因此，這不僅是一個保護婦女權益的節日，也是一個表揚女性突出貢獻的節日。
