跟別人說NO的多種表達

作爲一般疑問句的否定回答的首選，“No”在我們生活中無處不在。但是每次回答都用“No”未免有些無趣，讓我們來看看還有哪些詞也能表達否定的意思吧。

1. nix: 不可以

I ​suppose ​mom will say nix to us going to the ​movies.
我猜媽媽不會同意咱們去看電影。

2. uh-uh: 嗯，哼，表示否定回答的象聲詞（反義詞是uh-huh，表肯定的象聲詞）

"You didn't have time to go to the store?" "Uh-uh, no chance."
“你沒有時間去商店買東西嗎?”“嗯，沒有。”

3. nope: 不

"Are you going out tonight?" "Nope."
“今晚你要出去嗎？”“不出去。”

4. no way: 絕不

"Go on, lend me your bike." "No way!"
“自行車借我吧，行不行啊。”“絕不！”

5. negative: 不行，反對

We ​received a negative ​answer to ​our ​request.
我們的請求得到了否定的回答。

6. not on your Nelly: 絕不可能

"Perhaps you could take Simon to the party." "Not on your nelly!"
“也許你可以帶西蒙去參加聚會。”“沒門兒！”

7. fat chance: 不大可能，希望渺茫

"Perhaps they'll invite you." "Fat chance (of that)!"
“也許他們會邀請你。” “不太可能！”

8. no fear: 當然不

"Are you coming to the concert?" "No fear!"
“你會來聽音樂會嗎？”“當然不！”
