1. Expression：keep up with Joneses
Explanation：與人攀比
Example：Many people were holding down three jobs just to keep up with the Joneses.
許多人同時做3份工作只不過是爲了和別人攀比。
It is nowadays a common practice to keep up with the joneses.
如今攀比成風。
情景對話：
A: Mum, I want a new dress.
媽媽，我想要一件新衣服。
B: Why？You’ve already got so many dresses.
爲什麼?你已經有這麼多衣服了。
A：But Nancy has just bought as new dress and it’s wonderful. I want it too.

2. Expression：keep one’s shirt on
Explanation：To remain calm and wait for something. （保持冷靜，保持鎮定）
