熱狗作爲一種“便宜”“便攜”的大衆快餐食品深得民衆的喜愛，然而一向以“划算”著稱的熱狗近日也登上了頭版頭條，只不過，這一次頂的是“奢華”的頭銜。據悉，一個含有全球聞名、歷史悠久的爲這些藝術家及他們的創作場所—餐廳的權威鑑定的機構：奢華餐館“米其林”“祕密配方”售價爲80美元，裏面夾層爲蘑菇、魚子醬以及鮮奶油等昂貴料理做配料的熱狗在馬薩諸薩州棒球場上誕生，據估計此熱狗有望獲得世界上最奢華熱狗稱號。

據悉，這個天價熱狗的名字the McMullen Dog 是來自亞特蘭大的廚師Ryan McMullen的創意而得出，廚師Ryan McMullen製作這個天價熱狗時採用了全牛肉香腸搭配昂貴的松露油（松露（法語：Truffe）是一種蕈類的總稱，分類爲子囊菌門西洋松露科西洋松露屬（學名：Tuber），大約有10種不同的品種。松露多數在闊葉樹的根部着絲生長，散佈於樹底120～150釐米方圓，塊狀主體藏於地下5～40釐米。松露對生長環境的要求極其苛刻，造成了它的珍稀昂貴。）、牛肝菌（牛肝菌類是牛肝菌科和鬆塔牛肝菌科等真菌的統稱，其中除少數品種有毒或味苦而不能食用外，大部分品種均可食用。主要有白、黃、黑牛肝菌。白牛肝菌味道鮮美，營養豐富。）、以及鮮奶油、魚子醬等材料合理搭配而成，口感自然比普通熱狗甚好。
