HTC公司計劃推出虛擬現實眼鏡
HTC Corp is working on developing smartphone-based virtual reality goggles, as part of its broader efforts to diversify and boost revenues.
HTC公司正在致力於開發基於智能手機的虛擬現實眼鏡，以此來爲公司豐富產品種類及提高收入。The announcement comes shortly after the company also opened pre-orders for its new $799 HTC Vive VR headsets, which currently only work with personal computers and consoles.
在這一消息公佈前不久，HTC公司已經開啓了售價爲799美元的Vive VR頭盔的預定，頭盔目前只能在個人電腦和操控臺的支持下使用。Raymond Pao, its associate vice-president of VR new technology, said: "We have been working on VR equipment that can work with smartphones and tablets. It is a very important research direction, but we will only release the mobile version when we think it can deliver the best immersive experience to consumers."

Virtual reality equipment allow consumers to experience a 360-degree digital world where they can fight against zombies, ride spaceships and perform other tasks which are impossible or difficult in real life.
虛擬現實設備將會讓消費者體驗到一個360度的數字世界，消費者使用虛擬設備可以對抗殭屍，乘坐宇宙飛船以及做一些其他在現實生活中不可能或很難完成的事情。Pao declined to reveal exactly how many Vive headsets had been pre-ordered so far, but said the results were "beyond our expectations".
Pao 沒有透露到目前爲止虛擬頭盔的訂購量，但據說效果遠遠超出預期。HTC's VR product specialist Shen Ye said earlier in a Twitter post the company sold more than 15,000 units in the first 10 minutes, when orders started being taken on Feb 29.
之前，HTC公司虛擬產品設計專家申燁發佈一條推特推文稱，公司在2月29日開始銷售的前十分鐘就售出了15000部。Alvin Wang Graylin, who is in charge of HTC's VR business in China, said the company is planning to open more than 100 VR experience stores this year.
