Over the moon來自於美國的一首兒歌，用來形容人們“興高采烈”的心情。到了上世紀70年代，它用於體育賽事，指比賽贏了“欣喜若狂”的樣子，相當於“absolutely delighted”或“ecstatic”。表示因……而欣喜如狂，在短語的後面用介詞at，即：be over the moon at doing sth./sth.。
